PC won’t reset and stuck on a command

When trying to reset a Windows 11 PC, a command to run in the Command Prompt gets stuck and won't let you type anything else. This is preventing a PC reset.

How to fix it

  1. Press the Windows key + X and select Task Manager.
  2. Click on the File menu and select Run new task.
  3. Type 'msconfig' and press Enter.
  4. Click on the Boot tab.
  5. Uncheck the box next to Safe boot.
  6. Click OK and restart your PC.
