iOS 26.5 Messages Issue: iPhone Users Affected

If you added an iPod touch using your Apple ID, your iPhone messages might be showing as Text Message RCS Not Encrypted instead of regular messages. You can try resetting your iPhone's messaging settings to see if that fixes the issue.

• Messages showing as Text Message RCS Not Encrypted
• Regular messages not working

How to fix it

1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Messages.
3. Click Reset Messaging Settings.
4. Sign back in with your Apple account.
5. Check if the issue is resolved.
