iOS 26.5 Lock Screen Wallpaper Issue

Users are experiencing an issue with adding more than 3 people to their iOS lock screen wallpaper shuffle, even though they have many more photos in their album. This is happening on a phone that's up to date and syncing with iCloud.

How to fix it

  1. Long press the lock screen.
  2. Click the + icon.
  3. Select 'Photo Shuffle'.
  4. Choose 'People' and try adding more than 3 people to see if the issue persists.
  5. If this doesn't work, contact Apple support — there isn't a known user-side fix yet.
