Google Meet Audio Issues with Screen Sharing

Users are experiencing audio issues when screen sharing on Google Meet from mobile devices. The problem only occurs when the other user is screen sharing, not when the poster is screen sharing.

What it looks like

  • Audio issues during screen sharing
  • No audio from the other user

How to fix it

  1. Check that the screen sharing sound is enabled on the other user's device.
  2. Make sure the volume is turned up on the other user's device.
  3. Ask the other user to restart the Google Meet app.
  4. Try restarting the Google Meet app on your own device.
